1. That was it! Thanks.
2. Tools>customize...
You know, I've never even looked at that. Learn something new every day!
PLB-
No, I was really looking for the snap toggle. I embed things inside menu command macros that allow parts of one command to be combined with parts of another, to = a completeley seperate total function. One factor often has to do with embedded settings (like snap) that may affect the coordinate input of one or the other command.
I make extensive use of running object snap as well as "snap", but I could probably no longer tell you off the top of my head which particular osnap I might be running for any particular command. Its almost a seamless flow by now.
I only rarely toggle anything by hand including OSNAP anymore. The command I run usually has the running parameters already set, and I've sort of forgotten some of the details, and just run a function optimized for the particular operation of the moment. I was just running into a speed-bump where the returned coordinates were not quite right...
Anyway, thanks for the reminders!
Good luck-

ps- Thanks for your kindness in not pointing out that "SNAP" is <F9> and not <F7> ! I guess I should scan my posts a little better before clicking [Submit]. Oh well!
