Whats new in IV 2008 (not R12!!)

I'm new to Inventor - coming from a pretty strong Solid Edge background with a good bit of Solidworks thrown in. Right now, we're using IV10, although we're getting ready to transition to IV11. When should I expect IV2008 to be released? IV11 doesn't seem to offer any really critical benefits for us right now. IV2008, although, is interesting - finally allowing us to dimension axiometric views. Is there an early-release program with Autodesk?

Release dates are unconfirmed, but April/May is floating around.
There is a beta test program, but this close to release if you're not on it already it's probably too late.
