What Structural Analysis and Design software can I use and that can include structural analysis and design formulas and computations in the report? Please help.

And, having said all that, what else say thee? :)

WillisV has eloquently delineated exactly how much structural engineering that _I_ want you doing, based on your demonstrated bona fides.

I only ask if STAAD Pro gives/provides structural analysis and design formula and computation in the report? Thanks.

I can assure you that whatever output you have, if you could also output the combinations of formulae, matrices and algorithms used in finite element analysis it would be much longer and much less informative than the output.

I'm not sure why you want this unless it is for an internal quality assurance program. If that is the case, then do some relatively simple structural analyses that you can also replicate by hand and compare the output. If they are not the same, you need to find out why. If they are the same, you have (at least to a small degree) validated your software.

Within STAAD there is a command called "TRACK". This controls the level of design output. The TRACK 1 ALL command output in the post-processing file gives utilization ratios, controlling load cases, etc. The TRACK 2 command goes into more detail (i.e. controlling clauses as per AISC for the critical cases, section properties, etc.). I don't think either command gives the allowable formulas themselves but typically its more detail than most people want anyway.
