What required specifications do fuel train manual shutoff valves (MSOV) need to have?

I've been informed that under NFPA 86, a manual shut-off valve (MSOV) is required at the inlet of a fuel train. However, I'm unsure about the specific requirements for this valve. I assume it must be lockable to comply with lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures and should be non-sparking for safety. But beyond that, I haven't found clear specifications in the NFPA 86 text itself.

According to the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors:

"Manual shut-off valve (MSOV) – the purpose of this valve is to shut off the fuel supply so that maintenance or replacement of the fuel train may be done."

Does anyone have more insight into what standards or best practices apply to MSOVs in this context? Are there UL, FM, or other third-party certifications typically required?

But I doubt it. Any 1 inch ball valve will do the trick.
