What reheating will do to the microstructures and properties of quenched 4340 and 1018(A36 steel)?

What temperature are you concerned with?

What is the thermal history of the 4340?

Is 1018 a quenched steel?

Please come with more details, like size of parts, need for reheating, acceptance by customer /end user of reheated part etc

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." — Thomas Edison
