What is the Pipe wall Thick that require to start using PWHT

Dear API std specialist.

According to API 1104 , which pipe thickness tiger " threshold " starting Post welding heat treatment.

API 1104 is available at
Perhaps you will consider purchasing the standard which you seem to be using for your engineering or fabrication activities. That way, you will have it available as a ready reference.
 
It's nothing to do with 1104 - it's to do with what the procedure requires which in turn, as a minimum, is what the design code requires.

API 1104 does not provide the info regarding the thickness mandates for PWHT. B31.8 and B31.4 do.
 
1 1/4" is the thickness requireing PWHT within ASME B31.8 Gathering systems, this is the same as ASME B31.4
