I know it's difficult to predict but let's all discuss it and come to a mare solution. At least share your viewpoints.

And the purpose is?

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)

General-purpose for Oil and Gas industry. Generally, they use API 610, but why should we opt for ISO or ASME standards? On which criteria we should go for other standards?

Summit,

You are indirectly asking a very broad question about pump knowledge and expertise.... IMHO

The basis for selection between pump standards depends on the experience and expertise of your specification writers.

The people developing your pump specifications and data sheets should include process, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical engineers who are experienced and know your particular project requirements. Your Plant Operators and Maintenance staff should also have a review.

There is no one single answer to your broad question
