Good Morning,

We are involved in the possibility to install a plant in Brazil and the client says Brazilian law accepts construction codes from Europe.

If we have to register the tanks what documentation or procedure is needed if they are for instance constructed according EN13445?

Thank you all in advance for the Help!

Best Regards,

Ricardo Silva

You need to follow the Brazilian Pressure and Vessel Code NR13. Whatever is allowed or not is in that publication. Your client also has the responsibility of advising you on what is required. I can't advise you in detail but NR13 is the Brazilian statutory code you must follow.

*** Per ISO-4126, the generic term
'Safety Valve' is used regardless of application or design ***

*** 'Pressure-relief Valve' is the equivalent ASME/API term ***
