what is E for steel?

Am apprentice at college,need the E for HNC
 
Can you write me the meaning of HNC?<br>

(Normaly the E is 200 000 - 210 000 MPa for steel.)<br>

E- Modulus of &quot;E&quot;lasticity is usually taken as 30X10^6 psi (30,000,000 psi) and can vary anywhere from 28.5X10^6 to 30X10^6 psi depending on the type of steel.
