Yes, per ASME B31.4 section 404.3 "Intersections". Review this entire section carefully to check for proper area reinforcement. Also, make sure the weldolet is properly specified for the pressure/temperature rating for your application. I would suggest visiting the web site below for additional information on weldolet fittings;
