Dear All, just want to know, to weld between fitting and fitting with the same thickness, did we required to weld for the whole thickness or just half of the thickness. This is for ASME B31.3.
The actual configuration as below:-
pipe (25mm thk.) - tee (50mm) - tee (50mm) - flange (40mm)
pipe to tee - full thickness of pipe & taper on the tee.
tee to flange - full thickness of the flange & taper on the tee.
tee to tee - did we only required to weld only up to 25mm?
In accordance to which code?
