welding consumable select and preheat for JIS G4051 S45C weld to ASTM A572 Gr.50

Dear Gent,

I am currently encountering an issue that requires a fillet welding between two plates, one being 25mm thickness JIS G4051 S45C and the other 35mm thickness ASTM A572 Gr.50.

I have chosen welding consumables with a diameter of Ф3.2mm AWS A5.5 E9016-G, and intend to maintain preheat at a minimum of 150 degrees Celsius.

Could you please provide some guidance or input regarding this welding?
