Welding ANSI B16.5 Steel socket flange to 312 Stainless Steel flex hose

Hi,

We are a mounting a MC 331 LPG tank on to a truck frame and do all the related plumbing. We have a 312 SS flex hose that needs to be welded to a B16.5 steel socket flange.

1. I would like to know what filler material needs to be used.

2. Does the welder need to be qualified for this process ?
