Welder qualification by using RT

you can not qualify a welder by RT or UT for GMAW-S and FCAW welding process.

Is that statement is true? If yes why?

False...you cannot qualify a welder with GMAW - Short Circuit by RT.

What about Fcaw? David
And why? IS there any reason?

Qualification of FCAW by RT is allowed. FCAW is globular transfer, not Short Circuit.
