Weld Subject to Both Bending and Shear Question

I essentially have this situation, but the the load is longitudinally along the tip of the plate: (You have to go to the one labeled "cantilever"). For some reason I can't provide a DIRECT link to it.

I am trying to search for my situation in a simplistic example or literature and I can't seem to find it.

I've attached what I'm looking to do.

Any help on calculating the demand and capacity would be appreciated.

A fillet weld (near side only) should not be used to resist a load like P2.

P2 resolves itself into a tension load and a shear load similar to P1... not ever done a design for this particular type of loading, but have done lots of them that are similar. So, you have bending shear and tension...

BA is correct, the weld needs to be on both sides. With a double side fillet weld, P1 and P2 will create normal and perpendicular loads to the weld, which are resisted by shear in the throat. With a single sided fillet, the eccentricity between the plate and the weld create bending in the weld, for which it nominally has no capacity.
