Weld length adjustment

Tell me if this is an option in Pro E Creo 2 please.

Say you are creating a simple fillet weld using the weld application. The two components being welded have a seam that's ten inches long so the weld operator creates a weld along the entire seam automatically. The problem is we do not want to take the weld all the way to the end of the seam on both end but cut them back a half inch away from the edge. Is this option available?

Not a weld expert, but it should be possible by defining start and end points for your weld.
