we need to calculate the heat duty of heat exchanger at cooling water side but i have no flow meter so how can i cakculate this flow rate , i have non pipe size

OP,
What information you do have? Pressure drop across the exchanger? Flow and temperature on the process side? data sheets, nameplates?

all material is vailable except flow

What data do you have?

In this case Bernoulli has nothing to do with it...

OP,
I apologize, I did not fully read your initial question. I have edited and deleted my last post. They only thing I will say, is you will need to provide a lot more information if you are going to be able to get the requested assistance. LittleInch's signature says it all.

Hi,
No flow measurement, no possibility of mass /heat balances.
Ask a third party to come to your site to measure the flow rate or rent or use an external flow meter on water side.
I've in mind those using the doppler effect or ultrasonic mounted on pipe. Check on Internet, very handy in a plant.

Please post your HX datasheet Siddz, ... or nothing more will happen ...
