Hello,
I charged a Lipo battery of mine to maximum, and discharged it to minimum after storing it in RT for 2 months. The capacity dropped to about 80%.
Now I knew this test would affect the battery's capacity, but even later charging-discharging cycles the capacity didn't raised beyond 85%.
My question is - what's the chemical/electrical explanation for this phenomenon?

Thanks

Yes... Sorry for the grammar mistakes.

Sorry, I'm just trying to get this clear in my head. Tiny differences and failure to note details will completely screw up capacity testing results.

What brand and model number is the battery in discussion?

You charged the battery up "fully" to what voltage?

You then stored the battery for 2 months?

After the 2 months you discharged it down to what voltage?

Did you measure the discharged amp-hours? (Is this the 80% you're referring to or a subsequent test?)

Then you immediately(?) fully charged it back to what voltage?

And, subsequently discharged it again to the same discharged voltage and see only 80% of the original capacity?
