Hi everybody,

I'm working for a societty which develop hybrid motorisations (electric and thermal engine) for cars and busses. I'm actually working on the torsional vibrations of a 4 cylinder 1.6L turbocharged (200Hp/275Nm). Originally this engine is mounted with a dual mass flywheel (with radial spring inside). But we would like to decrease the inertia and mass of the flywheel while keeping the spring damper of the flywheel.
I try to find calculation/influence of the combination inertia and spring damper to the torsional vibrations.

Does somebody have interesting informations?

I think the engine manufacturer might be willing to share some of that info with you, hoping for sales of lots of engines someday.
