I don't understand how i have to do to change unit system.
I've got autocad 2006

thank you

petramale, With your reference to AutoCAD I assume that you have problems changing units in Vessel Drafting Program (VDP). In some cases changing the units in VDP to SI may not be retained. This can be corrected as follows:

Make certain that you are logged in as Administrator to the computer;

Find file "vdpsetup.txt" located in the VDP folder, check the file properties and specify that it is NOT "Read Only";

Another copy of file "vdpsetup.txt" may also be located in your AutoCAD directory. Rename this file as "vdpsetup.txt.bak". Then restart VDP.

You should now be able to set the Drafter setup to SI units and have this retained. If you continue to have problems with this issue write to support@codeware.com.
