a fired heater for heat propane stream on tubeside from 425 degree C to 625 degree C, but all know, propane maybe thermal crack on this temperatrue, so must use varies tubes size on radiant section.
the option shall be list for varies tubes size:
a. tubes of coils shall be large from inlet to outlet on radiant section.
because propane stream is higher pressure and lower temperature at inlet, but at outlet propane stream is lower pressure and higher temperature.
b. tubes of coils shall be small from inlet to outlet on radiant section.
let propane stream quick pass through the high temperature section of tube, resistance time less than 0.2 second .
please tell me that the option a or b is right?
