valving in hydraulic operation

Is there a valve available that would adjust the amount of flow in a hydraulic line, based on the signal received from an electronic device?&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>I am currently planning on running it into a PLC, but if a valve is available, then I would like to bypass the PLC.
