V8 - Caveat Emptor

This is three times today this &^%$ program has frozen on me!

It does it when I'm copying and pasting using Fence>Copy>Clip.

And text handling is still horrible.

A productivity killer and my boss has asked me to stop cursing so loudly.

Dave please do not consider this a flame right but as I just posted already you need V8.1
you also need to go to some bentley training say "Whats new in V8 for experienced ustn users.." or attend the next V8 summit would be good.

Can you use the Bentley news groups this has helped me a lot.
Als I attended the a bentley V8 summit here in Melbourne a few months ago and got a great deal help out of it for my lousey $30 USD..and my boss let me have the day off with pay to attend it.
It helped me work out what the training needs were for less experienced users too.

I got V8.1 in July 2003.
Screw Bentley training. I prefer printed manuals with good, meaningful examples (Bentley doesn't have these...). The various news groups and web-based helps are somewhat useful. All my problems were finally traced to an in-house "workspace" that wasn't tested thoroughly enough prior to its being forced on us all.
