Hello I have a query as to whether the sketch names can be referenced in an expression for a set of parameters within that sketch.
I have a pathway geometry defined by a series of section sketches along a path with a number of parameters within them. These are changed by reading in an expression text file produced by another program and the expressions are defined for example as sketch1_height, sketch1_width, sketch 2_height and so on.
The model works really nicely but is time consuming to prepare or add any additional parameters or features to all the sketches. The sketches can be copied and pasted from one location to the next and the parameter names changed using the edit parameters function, but there are tens of parameters now under tens of sketches/
It would save me an awful lot of time if I could define the parameters in terms of a sketch name and then change the expression identifier simply by copying and pasting the sketch and changing the sketch name.
Is this type of thing (or an alternative) possible in NX 7.5.
Many thanks for any help.
Mike
