Use coriolis mass flowmeter for both liquid & gas measurement 1

Hi,
Can a Coriolis mass flowmeter sized for gas flow measurement be used for liquid flow measurement also?

Yes, mass flow rate is what it detects. But beware, most have difficulty during the switching from one fluid phase to the other. It crashes the software. There are a few on the market that are supposed to have solved this.

I do not know if they have gotten any better in recent years, but in my experience, they do not respond well to bubbles in the fluid.

Yep, rebooting mass flow meters is not an uncommon activity in a chemical plant.
