Uploads to Forum

Its been a month or so that I have been able to look at forum threads. I notice that the "start thread" and "reply" are different in format.
I am at a new facility however it appears Eng Tips has a new look. I noticed in a thread that Jieve was having trouble uploading a pdf.
I too am having trouble. The link doesnt work and the full path (

http://...)doesnt

appear.

Others having problems? If anyone has success uploading could you please reply with full path to upload procedure?

There seems to be an error on the website. When I click the "... or upload your file to engineering.com", the link does not work.
It seems the administration works on this functionality because something like a week ago there was even no such link available.
Hope they solve the issue soon.

In the meantime you can try to upload files to some external servers and add a link to it in the post.

Hi dtmbiz,

As a workaround I'm now uploading files to share to google docs and posting the links in posts. Seems to work ok, although I occasionally had trouble viewing my own links and needed to manually enter the colon into the address in a separate window.

I just tried and noticed that the file upload is working now.
