Hi folks,

I would like to unpattern a group of features and make them independent of each other. I know you can delete the pattern but that gets rid of all the patterned features. I'm using WF2. Any ideas?
Thanks, in advance.

Thanks, Telecomguy. I guess my next questuion is where is "unpattern" located?

Unpattern is only an option for Group Patterns. You'll find it under the group menus or by right clicking the group in your model tree.

Ahhh, that's what it is. What I want to unpattern is not not grouped; its simply a pattern created of a feature around an axis. I thought that before Wildfire you could make the features in the pattern independent of each other if you chose to do so.

Unpattern is only possible for patterns of groups (it would be a good enhancement to allow for unpattern of features).

PRS,

It certainly would. Thanks a lot for the help.

Did you look at the thread I referenced? That explains exactly how to do it.

You create a Group of your feature. Then you Group Pattern it around your axis. Unpattern the Group Pattern, and then UnGroup the features...
