I was playing around with complex patterns across compound surfaces w/ tangency transitions. Then I noticed I was missing my unpattern command. Then I tried on some more simplistic examples and it's not there also. I figured out that unpattern is not available if you pattern an protrusion w/ a sketch first. The unpattern only works if you extrude a protrusion ie. w/o the sketch as a previous feature.
