A 1920 slab with undeformed bars, Can i get help on what reduction should i put into consideration for having undeformed bars instead of deformed bars !

CRSI has a article "Evaluation of Reinforcing Bars in Old Reinforced Concrete Structures". check CRSI.org

Structual grade fy = 33,000 psi (unless otherwise specified)
14,000 allowable

Assume 50% as effective in bond and anchorage as current bars.

another helpful quote.

"Since most strength design reviews for flexure will be based on yield strength, fy = 33,000 psi instead of today's 60,000 psi, the tension development lengths for the old bars can be determined by adding 10% to any current table of tension development lengths, ld for modern reinforcing bars."

Thanks Ironmon.....
That is what i was looking for
