I have read Section VIII Div.I UG-45 and from what I have read it is saying that all openings with nozzles will have the code required calculations performed. My question is; would this apply to couplings as well?
Thanks for any help you can give.

I believe UG-45 calcs are not required if the coupling is a standard fitting per ASME B16.11.
