U50 Error

Hello!

I'm trying to do merge operation on catia v4 systm using two differnt files. I received message --- U50 Error.
Need to exit the system

I tried to look at the help & it stated that look at catrace.log file.

Can anyone help on this?

Wooh, CATIA V4 ! Long time no use (and wonder if it is still "intensively" used out there !).

To my vague memory, it is something to do with ROLL FILE. Beliving it is caused by either the roll file is not declared properly or the roll file is full. Have a check up on that and see.

Most likely to be a read/write error on the roll file.

Hi,

Roll file as far as I know...when I saw it first time it was a huge surprise (I saw it after a click OK to terminate in v5...), I thought only v5 can finish session without apparently no reason.
