U.S. Seismic Zones

Do the U.S. still get their seismic data by the zone class? seismic zone 1,2,3,4, etc...

if so, how does one obtain the Sa values etc.... for the specific area.

The newer standards don't use the zones- see ASCE 7-05.

essentially, you need Ss and S1 as well as the seismic site class to determine Fa and Fv. these together get you to Sds and Sd1.
