Hello,

I explained in another thread my current business-hobby about various thermodynamic cycles.

I would like to find a nice T-s diagram for pentane.
In many papers such diagrams are given schematically.
However, I would like to have a large diagram where at least the isobar and isenthalpic lines could be seen.

Would you know where to find this diagram, preferably on the net?

Of course, I would also be interested by the same for other fluids for organic rankine cycles.
I don't know if something similar would be available for an ammonia-water mixture used in the kalina cycle.

With my thanks and best regards,

Michel

I needed a high-quality T-S diagram for a specific mixture (90% CO2 and 10% methane) last year and bought REFPROP from NIST and was able to generate my own E-size version. It turned out really pretty (yes I am a geek) and was on the wall for a long time (till I needed the space for maps).

It was actually pretty easy to do with the data in REFPROP.

Look in ASHRAE (= American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers) Fundamentals Volume - available in any Engineering library or from any HVAC engineer.

nist refprop can do it. The GPSA data book has one, I've got laminated ones from elliot turbines for C1, C2, C3
