I am having a problem with an imported SolidWorks file. The file is a bone (femur) model with a titanium rod going through the center of the bone. I am trying to determine the stresses on the bone under various loading conditions in Visual Nastran. However, everytime I try and load the bone and perform the stress FEA, the program gives me an error message and crashes the program. The error message has to do with memory could not be "read" or "written". Is it a problem with the bone model (perhaps too complex?) or is it a problem with the computer? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
