I am having a problem in weldments where there is a square tube(at 45 degrees) meeting at the corner of 2 other square tubes (the 2 tubes are at 90 degrees). Is there a way to trim using the 2 faces that are 90 degrees as cutting planes because I amable to chose only on or the other not both.

That is correct ... only one face can be used as a trim tool.

You will need to use conventional modelling methods to cut or extrude to two faces.

Thanks for the help I will not spend anymore time trying to trim using 2 faces when using weldments

Correction ... If the tube (at 45°) has a profile small enough to fit within the straight sides of the two tubes (at 90°), then selecting the Bodies option as the Trimming Boundaries will work.
