Hi friends

I found an old 3D model of NX6.5, when I tried to modify the " main tree structure (I do not know the technical name)", the boxes for operatios, sketches , etc. are blocked.
(See attached picture), someone of you know, how can I get unblocked it?

thanks a lot for your comments

Regards

From the image, the features you're referring to are 'suppressed by expression'.
However, you should still be able to edit those features.

Try Edit -> Feature -> Suppress by Expression, then delete the suppression to see if that makes any difference.

It should still not be locked. ( these features can be , but are not currently, suppressed by an expression.)
But, Files from older NX versions ( such as NX6) DOES NOT have an application ( i.e Modeling) connected , - when you load an old file, you must also activate Application- Modeling.
Else you cannot modify the features.

Tomas

Try saving that file into the newest version of NX that you are running and see if you can decipher what is going on.
There may be easier ways to see when viewed in a new version.
In NX6 it was possible to suppress features by expression.

Awesome, I followed your facts and I "unblocked" the operation.

step 1: save whit newer version
step 2: Edit -> Feature -> Suppress by Expression > Expression option [Delete for each] > show expression > select & delete

Thanks a lot for your time & kind regards
