The part is open in SolidWorks as read-only. By means of Change State in PDMWorks Enterprise you chose transition Make Change. In this transition PDMWorks Enterprise makes some variables where the revision properties are entered. When the part is checked out of the vault and in again, the properties from the transition are not marked on the part???

If this transition is carried out when the part is not open in SolidWorks, there are no difficulties. When the part is opened in SolidWorks, properties are entered in File - properties. I do not understand why.

It should not be important whether a part is open in SolidWorks as read-only or not. It is very inappropriate if you wish to make a revision on a part which is open in a large assembly. The assembly must be closed down otherwise no revision properties.

Is anyone experiencing the same?

fbo - how are you interpreting whether the revision properties have been added to the file or not? Are you sure you have the lastest version of the part file loaded in SolidWorks, after the transition?

engAlright - when the revision properties have been added you can see them in the parts file - properties.
In PDMWorks Enterprise settings we have set "Always work with latets version of files".
I just don´t understand why it do not work when the part is loaded READ ONLY in SolidWorks memory?
