Hi,

I'm working with expressions with NX 7.5. I know it's possible to use Transferred expressions (expressions created in a assembly but used in a component of the assembly) but I don't know how. Can someone help me with this?

It looks like this:

Assembly----model1::pin_dia=50
model1------!pin_dia=50

With referenced expressions I have not problem.

Thanks in advance!!!!

They're called 'Interpart Expressions', and if you search the NX Help files using this terminology you'll find fairly decent information on how to use them for both referencing (i.e. sharing) an expression from one part in another part, and for overriding expressions in on part by expressions in another part.

I had a look at the NX help and I got it to work properly.

John, Thank you very much for your tip!

Also do a search in here on Interpart Expressions.
Not much has changed with them in the last several versions of NX.
