Can you drive expresions form an arrangement?

All,
We have been able to drive feature suppression by expressions for a long time. Has anyone been able to drive the same feature suppression status by an assembly arrangement? Solidworks has a tool called configurations that can drive this type of operation.

I'm not aware of anything which would support this directly, however I suspect that something could be put together using Knowledge Fusion.
