Hi John,

We are using NX 5 but unfortunatley don't have this tracking tool available to us. Can you please advise us as how to install it ?

Regards
Ray

What do you want to track?
Info -> Part -> Part History
Will show you the "saved" history

Dimension changes when a view is updated after a modeling change.
As mentioned in previous thread thread561-312871: NX7.5 Drafting Identifying Changed Dimensions.

The only option is to install NX7.5 or higher as it was a new function added into NX7.5.

NX8.5.0 -> NX8.5.3, NX9.0.0 -> NX9.0.1

It isn't new on version 7.5. I have used it on much earlier versions at different companies. But as I didn't have anything to do with setting up those systems I don't know how to set it up here.

That functionality was added with the release of NX 7.5. What you saw prior to that was a 3rd party product that not only have I never used, I've also never even had a copy of.

Are you using Teamcenter with the JT viewer or have Visview installed. If so, try exporting out CGM files of previous revision and the new revision of your drawing and do a drawing overlay. Works well until a someone moves an entire view.
