Hi all,
I'd like to calculate the torsional stress on a thin disk, where torque is applied at the center, and then transferred through the disk to the outside edge. I remember doing this calculation before, and that standard Tau=Tr/J assumption does not apply because it is no longer assumed to be a long bar. Does anyone have this formula/analysis method?
Thanks,
Matt
