Tonnage requirements for press coining

Does anybody have information for calculating the tonnage requirements for different strip materials when coining?
I work with progressive dies and often need to calculate tonnage requirements for stamping and coining - I have information for stamping but none for coining. Thank you in advance for any info.

In the section on Coining on page 78, in the Metals Handbook Eighth Edition Volume 4 on Forming, there are some indications relative to materials, thickness and area of blanks.
"As the yield strength increases, the area that can be coined using the same pressure will decrease in proportion. However, increase in strength of the workpiece must be limited so that plastic failure of the the die does not take place."

I'd swear that's covered in the SME Die Design Handbook, which I haven't seen in some years.
