I am an independent contractor and have been requested to submit a proposal for the redesign of a shipping box of a commercial product. The present design is: the product in a display box snugled inside an outer box without any cushion in between the two boxes. The inner display box, is absorbing some of the shipping shock, arriving damaged at the stores. I have designed to Bellcore stds and have not designed to commercial stds. Also need leads to material suppliers who would have technical specs of various foam densities.
