I use Win2000Pro and SoildWorks 2001+SP3.

I have a drawing which contains 11 sheets. Is it possible to update my titleblock to cover all drawing sheets or do I need to do each sheet on an individual basis?.

Drawing rev #, change details, last change author etc.

Thanks, SteveMS

Yes, you can. For the SolidWorks File Name put $PRPSHEET:"SW-File Name" in your template sheet format. For the title you might put in $PRPSHEET:"TITLE1" in your template sheet format on sheet 2 or your template sheet format. Then in your custom properties of the model you would have TITLE1. Then TITLE1 would update whenever you change the custom properties in the model for all sheets. To make all of the really easy to change, check out: Bradley

Bradley,

Thanks very much!

Depending on where your change notes are placed you can also do the following:

Select Insert Object from the menu. This will bring up a dialog box where you insert an excel worksheet to create your revision block or you can insert an existing excel worksheet that you have set up already.

Once the excel object is inserted you can right click on it to specify if it to display only on the current page or to display on all pages.

I use this method as it provides flexibility for the length of the change description as well as the size and location of the revision block itself.
