I need to find the pressure rating for a 1/2, 1, 2 inch titanium flange. I need to determine if the design stresses (Class 150) are less than the allowable stresses for a given temperature and pressure. Titanium is not specified in B16.5. What are your recommendations?

SUPERJET,

Use the equation in ANNEX D of B16.5 to calculate the pressure rating. The allowable stress for cast titanium (ASTM B-367 grades C-2 and C-3) are listed in the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. Allowable stress for wrought titanium and forgings are also listed in the code.

Anyone know where i can find an extra large wet flange plz ?

Ta.
