Hey Guys,

Is there anywhere you guys know of a good example for this? I've never done these and I'd like to make sure I'm on the right track so I'd appreciate any good reading or examples.

Thank you!

I was going to design one of these on a recent project, but wasn't able to get the aspect ratio to work. Anyway. . .

Resources:
  1. General requirements are in NDS-SDPWS.
  2. Some decent discussions can be found here (eng-tips).
  3. The book: "The Analysis of Irregular Shaped Structures" by Malone. See Chapter 6: Open Front and Cantilever Diaphragms.

FAQ has an article if the link still works.
The link doesn't work. Try this instead: https://www.structuremag.org/article/tackling-the-3-sided-box-diaphragm-one-engineers-perspective
From the link you can download the article (or really the entire magazine) with the download button at the bottom right of the slide show window.

And thanks by the way. Looks like a good resource which I hadn't found yet.

Alright i tried to update it, so now the FAQ is going to disappear (probably briefly). I'll check back later.

Revised link is working in the FAQ, thanks.
