I am looking for a reference material on synchronizing, short circuit contributions to the system, protection issues, overvoltage conditions for a small, 450KVA, 2400VAC induction generator being driven by small hydro turbine.

Here's a reference to start with. It doesn't cover all of the topics you mentioned, but has some useful information
