This is a problem that I see developing in today's world. I like reading about the aviation industry because it offers a level of transparency that I think benefits is all. Now, a government operated FA18 nearly crashes into a crowd of people. The near miss appears to be pilot error but the government appears to lie and explain it as bird avoidance.

We have get a panel of people that are probably experts... that do a good job of explaining how it probably was pilot error but seem terrified of going against the government conclusion.

And this is despite not even being under the jurisdiction of that government.

I miss the 1950's videos our USA government put out documenting their errors as we learned while moving our air and space programs forward. I don't miss the casualties...

Its not worth exposing yourself to any legal issues or a vindictive governmental department.

Google Glen Buckel and CASA.

Most give in and disappear.

Uk we have the on going chinook crash in the sound of Mull.

Difference between civilian and military.

Military really don't want to admit their mistakes.
