Hi all,

I am creating some silicone grips and I want to model different textures into them but to the geometry they are on.

I am a new NX user, I know how I would do this is solidworks but it doesn't seem as easy in NX.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Are we talking about using something like a jpeg or png image file and then map the image onto a surface to simulate what a texture would look like on the finished part, such as in a photo-realistic rendering?

No, I want it to be physical. I will be 3D printing parts for our marketing team.

Then you'll have to model the pattern yourself. Could you provide at least a picture of the part model and what the texture will look like? Also, what version of NX are you running?
