Text size in viewport is too small

How can I increase the size of the text on the left-hand side and the 3D Compass? I tried increasing the text from the viewport annotation options but no luck.

Which text do you mean ? Icon size can be changed in Tools —> Options —> Icons while triad can be adjusted in Viewport —> Viewport Annotation Options —> Triad. If these settings don’t help then it might be an issue related to screen resolution or other system display settings.

If the issue is related to screen resolution or other system display settings do you know what exactly it might be?

I run sap2000, etabs, revit 2021, and ram structural system with no issues. so, I'm a bit mind-boggled. attached is the entire screen when i open abaqus up - all the font but the circled in red, which i believe is the coordinates text, are legible even the triad at the bottom left corner its the 3D compass and the text on the top left corner that I cannot seem to change. I have both the student edition and commercial ed. any help with this is really appreciated.
